Released in 2005, the N70 Hilux offers reliability and durability.

Engineered to handle family tasks, beach drives, work commutes, and more! It boasts the perfect all-rounder Ute. The Toyota Hilux N70 was available in both a cab-chassis or ute in either diesel or petrol.

Toyota Hilux N70 Towing Mirrors

Tow Mirrors for the Hilux include the Next Gen, Compact, and Classic models. These mirrors are designed as true replacements for your OE mirrors, using the same holes, fittings, and wiring (where applicable) for a seamless plug-and-play installation.

Our three mirror types can be extended when towing and retracted when not in use. Built to be stable and tough, they won’t retract at high speeds or when passing large trucks.

Colour-coded options are available for the Next Gen and Compact mirrors, but they need to be painted by a third-party automotive paint shop at an additional cost.

CAT 6 LED indicators are available for the N70 Hilux mirrors to meet ADR 6/00 requirements.

All standard functionalities of the OE N70 Hilux mirrors are retained in our extendable mirrors.

Which is better: Clearview Compacts or Next Gen Towing Mirrors on your Hilux?

Which Clearview Mirror is better? It ultimately comes down to personal preference, as there is no definitive right or wrong choice.

Compact vs. Next Gen Mirror: The Compact and Next Gen mirrors generally differ by only 57mm in height and 2mm in width. The front face of the mirror is where the aesthetics really start to differ.

Usage Recommendations: Both mirrors are suitable for most situations. However, we recommend the Next Gen Towing Mirrors for those who frequently tow boats, large caravans, or similar items. The larger size of the Next Gen provides additional visibility that the Compact’s smaller design cannot offer.

Twin Mirror Design: This design features a large flat upper glass that reflects true distance and a lower convex glass that offers a wide field of vision, making it an excellent choice.

Single Mirror Model: This model includes a large convex mirror that reduces the size of reflected objects, providing a wide field of vision similar to an OE mirror, but with the added benefit of extra visibility.
