The smaller, convex mirror allows the driver to have a much wider field view and diminishes blind spots.

Mirror features for the D40 include:

Indicators – Lights located on the side of the Mirror that will flash to signal your intentions to swap lanes or turn. Our Tow Mirrors include a clear indicator lens with an amber LED light. Indicators in all manufactured mirrors come with a CAT5 indicator as standard.

Electric Mirror Glass Adjustment – Electrical Vertical and Horizontal adjustments to suit your preferred driving angles. Clearview supports this feature throughout our range. Single Mirror models can offer electric adjustments of the mirror. The double mirror models can only offer top glass mirror electric adjustments, the lower bottom glass is a manual adjustment.

All these features are only available for those vehicles that contain these pre-existing features such as Indicators and Electric Mirror Glass Adjustment, and Heat. The Mirror alone cannot add new functionality to the vehicle.
